I just want to share this story on how God perfectly created the world..emoticon
God’s Perfection
By Rabbi Paysach Krohn

In Brooklyn, New York, Chush is a school that caters to learning disabled children. Some children remain in Chush for their entire school career, while others can be mainstreamed into conventional schools.

At a Chush fundraising dinner, the father of a Chush child delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended.

After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he cried out, "Where is the perfection in my son, Shay? Everything God does is done with perfection. But my child cannot understand things as other children do. My child cannot remember facts and figures as other children do. Where is God’s perfection?"

The audience was shocked by the question, pained by the father’s anguish and stilled by the piercing query.

"I believe," the father answered, "that God brings a child like this into the world, the perfection that he seeks is in the way people react to this child."

He then told the following story about his son Shay:

One afternoon, Shay and his father walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, "Do you think they will let me play?"

Shay’s father knew that his son was not at all athletic and that most boys would not want him on their team. But Shay’s father understood that if his son was chosen to play it would give him a comfortable sense of belonging.

Shay’s father approached one of the boys in the field and asked if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance from his teammates. Getting none, he took matters into his own hands and said "We are losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we’ll try to put him up to bat in the ninth inning."

Shay’s father was ecstatic as Shay smiled broadly. Shay was told to put on a glove and go out to play short center field. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay’s team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay’s team scored again and now with two outs and the bases loaded with the potential winning run on base.

Shay was scheduled to be up. Would the team actually let Shay bat at this juncture and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprising, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that it was all but impossible because Shay didn’t even know how to hold the bat properly, let alone hit with it. However as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher moved a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay should at least be able to make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. One of Shay’s teammates came up to Shay and together they held the bat and faced the pitcher waiting for the next pitch. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly toward Shay. As the pitch came in, Shay and his teammate swung at the ball and together they hit a slow ground ball to the pitcher. The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could easily have thrown the ball to the first baseman. Shay would have been out and that would have ended the game. Instead, the pitcher took the ball and threw it on a high arc to right field, far beyond reach of the first baseman. Everyone started yelling, "Shay, run to first! Run to first!"

Never in his life had Shay run to first. He scampered down the baseline wide-eyed and startled. By the time he reached first base, the right fielder had the ball. He could have thrown the ball to the second baseman who would tag out Shay, who was still running. But the right fielder understood what the pitcher’s intentions were, so he threw the ball high and far over the third baseman’s head.

Everyone yelled, "Run to second! run to second!" Shay ran towards second base as the runners ahead of him deliriously circled the bases towards home.

As Shay reached second base, the opposing short stop ran to him, turned him in the direction of third base and shouted, "Run to third!" As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams ran behind him screaming, "Shay run home!"

Shay ran home, stepped on home plate and all 18 boys lifted him on their shoulders and made him the hero, as he had just hit a "grand slam" and won the game for his team.

"That day," said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, "those 18 boys reached their level of God’s perfection."

Desiderata

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

    Weee.. Championship na.. and guess what!? the Cleveland Cavaliers made it through the NBA Finals.. With the spectacular performance from Lebron James on Game 5 with 48 pts in double OT and also scoring 29 of the last 30 pts of the team which lifted the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 109 - 107 victory over the Detroit Pistons and Daniel Gibson, a rookie from Texas , that had a 32 pts and 5 for 5 on the 3 pt line in Game 6 which eliminated the more experienced Pistons Team.. The Cleveland will be facing the the three time champion San Antonio Spurs in the Finals.. The Spurs are likely to be the favorite with almost all players had a Finals experienced while the Cleveland has only one (eric snow with the sixers in ‘01) but Cleveland has improved their defense and won all the games against the Spurs on the season..

    I want to watch Lebron do his stuff against the Spurs and won the title but its too difficult to conclude especially against the team who has been to the finals for many times..Well i hope the Cavs will win *fingers crossed*..

    People always come into your life for a reason, a season and a lifetime..

Reason, these people comes to your life with a purpose. Thier purpose is to assist, help, provide or aid you in your life. They are with us for a reason and we need them. After thier purposed is fulfilled they are gonna live us. sometimes they die, walk away or somtimes they force you to take a stand.. These people are god sent.. When their job is done we should realize that our prayers from up above are answered and we should move on.

Season, these people come to your life because its your turn to share, grow and learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.They may thought you new things in life. All these things just happen for a season..Like a summer turns to spring, a season eventually ends.

Lifetime, realationships teach you a lifetime of lessons. Lessons that you will be needing in order to build a strong foundation for a relationship. We must learn the lesson, love the person and use these lesson in your other relationship and in some areas in your life.

Let’s welcome these people in our life.. It hurts when some of them will leave us sooner or later but the  lessons and memories we shared with them are worth it. IT is part of God’s plan for us.

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

Learn to write your hurts in the sand, and carve your benefits into the stone.. Sabi pa nila, to forgive is to forget.. We fully forgive someone that hurted us when we already forgotten what they have done to us.. And for all the goodness that we received from a person lets carve it in our hearts to remind us of that person. To remind us how good God is for letting us meet that person..

    Hhmm.. "Wings Road" I really don’t know why i pick this title.. i just find it catchy..hehehe.. btw, i first heard about this word was when I was watching "Air Gear" an anime which uses Air Trek(or AT for short) high-motorpowered rollerblades that allow the wielder to perform incredible aerial feats and even ride along the sides of walls. Air Treck riders who fight against other air treck riders are called storm riders. The story is all about Ikki, a thirteen year-old middle school student and the leader of the youth gang namely the "East Side Gunz". Ikki was humiliated by a street gang of storm riders called Skull Saders, upon arriving home, he discover the AT’s from the  Noyamano Sisters, his benefactors, and stole them.. He then take his revenge to the Skull Saders and so passionate and determined with AT’s he started forming his own team, Kogarasumara . Ikki is able to see the "Wings Road and was prophesied to be the Sky king.

    Enough with Air Gear.. The wings road is a reminder not only for me but to all of you that we have our own wings.. We should only learn to spread this wing and fly.. Lets not trap ourselves in a cage of fear, failure, disappointments and sufferings.. This will hinder us from reaching the sky. The Sky will serve as our goals in life.. It’s not that easy to reach goals.. Just stay focused on your goal, "Just Do It"(Nike) and "Impossible is Nothing" (addidas) lols.. On our trip on this wing road to sky, lets keep in mind that God is there for us.. It’s either he is waiting for us on the top or at the ground catching us if we fall.. Most of all enjoy the trip called life and wing ur way to the sky..
